First installment of Motion Pictures from Queens, an ongoing series of moving-image portraits covering every neighborhood in the borough. Flushing is chapter one: locked-off frames of landmarks, textures, and rhythms, each shot in a single 10-second take.

Media Gallery is axismecca's own showcase series. Volume two turned AVA Galerie into a one-night showcase: a group show of paintings and mixed-media work, custom fashion on the racks, live vocal sets, and a crowd that filled the floor. axismecca produced the night and shot it end to end.

A neighborhood clean-up day at Poppenhusen Playground in College Point, run with A Better College Point Civic Association, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the College Point Board of Trade, and NYC Sanitation. Volunteers turned out to clear litter from the streets and parks and to connect with their neighbors. axismecca was on the ground to outfit the day and document it end to end.
